Job Description

Support daily operational activities within the banking and financial services department.
Handle operations for alternative investment funds.
Familiarity with processing trades and managing lifecycle events for instruments such as convertible bonds and securities, OTC derivatives, FX and other relevant instruments.
Analyse and optimise workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Manage collateral and margin calls.
Monitor and reconcile financial transactions to ensure compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues promptly.
Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records for audits and reviews.
Assist in implementing new systems and technologies to enhance operations.
Identify potential risks and recommend mitigating strategies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operations Analyst should have:

Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
Minimum 1 year of settlement experience in alternative investment funds.
Proven experience in operational roles within the banking or financial services industry.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in financial operations.
An eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work.
A proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges.
