Our client is a large established SI MNC.

Overall Role Purpose:


 


The Account Manager serves as the front for the company within the assigned territory and is expected to aggressively acquire new accounts and also customer retention to ensure both new and repeat business. The AM will serve the role of a trusted advisor to the company’s customers, as someone who understands their IT needs, issues and requirements and to propose solutions accordingly, and is expected to deliver excellent customer service to the customer. The AM is to possess good communication and relationship-building skills.


 


 


Responsibilities:


 



  • Ensure consistent territory coverage of existing accounts and to build new customer base

  • Be aware of the assigned territory’s trends so as to pursue new opportunities that present themselves

  • Understand and effectively communicate the company’s offerings to the customer

  • Establish good relationship with the relevant brand vendors so as to bring the relevant and best solution fit to the customer

  • Ensure all issues are dealt with in a timely manner to the satisfaction of all parties concerned

  • The ability to manage a project team, both within and without so as to ensure timely delivery of solution to customer

  • Timely submission of weekly sales forecast and activities to the sales director

  • Able to handle stress and time pressure well

  • Independent worker who is able to plan and execute responsibilities well with minimal supervision


Qualifications


  • Minimum Diploma holder with at least 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a IT related environment. Applicants without paper qualifications but have min 3-5 years relevant experience (especially in IT Services) may apply.

  • IT-savvy and well informed on technological trends

  • Assertive and able to work independently to achieve sales targets in a fast paced environment

  • Good interpersonal skills, self-driven and must be customer oriented.

  • Able to communicate well in English (both verbal and written) is preferred and possess strong presentation skills.

  • Ability to communicate in other languages is a plus.

  • Strong business acumen and equal strength in farming and hunting preferred.
