Accounts Executive ( 6 months - Convertible) (Banking Industry)

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain full set of accounts (AR/AP/FA/GL/BS/PL), including preparation and posting of journal entries
• Perform daily and month-end account closing activities and bank reconciliations
• Responsible for the timely preparation of Management, Head Office, and Regulatory reports 
• Experience in regulatory reporting (MAS1003 , MAS1015, AMR etc preferred)
• Preparation and filing of quarterly GST returns
• Liaise with internal and external parties on various accounting matters, including external auditors for year-end audit
• Involve in Budgeting and Forecasting exercises
• Assist in managing and updating the Bank’s accounting policies
• Other ad-hoc projects and responsibilities 

Job Requirements: 

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting with at least 5 years' relevant experience in the financial industry preferably in the banking sector
• Prior experience in regulatory reporting highly preferred 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools especially Microsoft Excel
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics / Vermeg will be an advantage
• Good planning and organizational skills, able to work effectively with given timeline
• Meticulous with an eye for details
• Experience in enhancement / UATs / Projects is advantageous 
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and stakeholder management
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member
• Willingness to take on new responsibilities and challenges 

Duration: 6 Months Contract (Convertible to Permanent Staff)
