Assistant Manager, Legal Services, APEC (Paralegal)

This role functions as the corporate paralegal for the Asia Pacific team based out of Singapore. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Assisting lawyers in drafting and editing agreements for management and franchise deals, amendments to agreements, assignments and related documents


• Supporting the execution of agreements including proofreading, and arranging for powers of attorneys and signing


• Preparing and filing closing documentation and contract summaries


• Tracking of legal documents and maintaining legal databases

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

Education and Experience 

• Diploma in legal studies or a relevant degree 


• At least 4 years of relevant work experience in a law firm or law department

Skills and Competencies

• Strong organizational and time management skills


• Strong user skills across common platforms (Microsoft Office, Serengeti)


• Able to collaborate well with others on the team and across different teams


• Strong communication skills (written/verbal)


• Able to perform well under pressure and confident to work with minimal supervision
