Position Overview

The CNC Milling Machine Operator will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components according to technical drawings and specifications. The role requires strong programming expertise, high attention to detail, and the ability to maintain quality and productivity standards in a fast -paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines for precision machining operations.
  

• Develop and modify CNC programs using Mastercam software.
  

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications accurately.
  

• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for machining processes.
  

• Perform machine setup, tool offset adjustments, and parameter optimization.
  

• Conduct in -process inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
  

• Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions.
  

• Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks.
  

• Ensure adherence to production schedules and meet daily output targets.
  

• Follow workplace safety standards and quality control procedures.
  

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  

• Coordinate with supervisors and production teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  

Essential Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / Technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Machining Technology, or related field.
  

• Minimum 3–4 years of hands -on experience in CNC milling operations.
  

• Proven experience in CNC programming using Mastercam.
  

• Strong understanding of machining processes, cutting parameters, and tooling selection.
  

Required Skills

• Strong CNC programming and editing capabilities.
  

• Proficiency in Mastercam software.
  

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
  

• Knowledge of various materials such as steel, aluminum, and alloy components.
  

• Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
  

• Strong problem -solving and troubleshooting skills.
  

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
