Embedded Software Engineer (C++, Python with RestAPI) (ID: 662645) - JYK

We are seeking a software developer with expertise in robotic systems and software integration design, develop, and maintain REST API endpoints for both external and internal stakeholders.

This role includes:

• Designing, documenting, and developing REST API interfaces and logic.
• Integrating with databases for API data persistence.
• Testing APIs for functionality and reliability.
• Developing internal APIs for system components and writing related documentation.
• Assisting with software deployment, including integration with additional systems at customer sites.
• Supporting the deployment of the logistics/warehouse system, ensuring smooth installation and testing.
• Performing DevOps tasks, focusing on orchestration, fleet management, task execution, and optimization.

Required skills/experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or a and relevant practical experience
• Software skills: Python, Docker,Git, REST API
• Experience in developing software for robotic systems, including navigation, perception, and control algorithms.
• Proficiency in Python and C++ for embedded systems development.
• Strong familiarity with Linux operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) and RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems).
• Experience designing and implementing IoT solution architectures and integrations.
• Proficiency in front-end, back-end, or full-stack web development.
• Experience in hardware-software integration, particularly in sensing and actuation.
• Familiarity with system-level testing and debugging techniques.
• Strong understanding of software optimization for performance and reliability.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
