ID:\n\nJR96586 HBM Customer Systems Validation Engineer\n\nOur vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.\n\nMicron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.\n\nAs a HBM Customer Systems Validation Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will:\n\n * Be responsible for system-level validation, failure analysis, characterization, and experimentation of customer systems\n\n * Run and configure diagnostic software, design experiments, analyze and interpret data, creating custom tools (Hardware and Software), presenting data to customers both inside and outside Micron\n\n * Provide technical customer integration support at customer locations. To accomplish these responsibilities, you will use a variety of equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, multi-meters, etc.)\n\n * Work with customers and memory enablers like GPU manufacturers to attain design wins and qualifications of Micron memory products in their applications\n\n * You will work with other engineers within the HBM team, Product Engineering, FAE, Quality Assurance, and business unit teams\n\n\n\n\nDebug Micron Product Customer Failures\n\n * Provide technical support to customers and the field sales\n\n * Utilize diagnostics to reproduce the original failure\n\n * Identify failure mechanism\n\n * Collaborate with Product Engineering and Return Material Authorization (RMA)\n\n * Provide 8D or failure documentation for customer failure resolution\n\n * Implement fixes for fails (design or process)\n\n\n\n\nDesign and Implement Micron System Tools\n\n * Create test scripts for a variety of applications\n\n * Create and modify hardware that controls test parameters (i.e. temperature or voltage)\n\n * Support internal customer diagnostics software and hardware tools within Micron labs\n\n * Interface with external customer to create intelligent DOE (design of experiments)\n\n\n\n\nPerform System Characterization\n\n * Use software, Internal logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other tools to understand system memory usage\n\n * Develop software to interpret data\n\n * Collaborating with Product and Application Engineering\n\n * Communicating results with cross-functional teams and customers\n\n\n\n\nSuccessful candidates will have, but not limited to:\n\n * A Bachelor\u2019s or a Master\u2019s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (or an equivalent field) with 2-4 years of experience or 1-3 years of experience respectively, both requiring a balanced hardware and software skill set.\n\n * Comfortable working and programming with Linux, Python/C/C++, version control systems (git, svn)\n\n * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills\n\n * Works well in a team environment\n\n * Good communication, data analytics and presentation skills\n\n * Basic understanding of DRAM operations and computer networking\n\n * Self-motivation and passion\n\n\n\n\nSuccessful candidates suggested to have but not required:\n\n * Experience in bios/linux driver development/debug\n\n * Understanding of system architecture and memory subsystem\n\n * Comfortable working with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzer, protocol analyzers, soldering equipment, etc\n\n * Previous experience validating products with both hardware/firmware/software components\n\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nProduct Development Engineer 2 - Product Development Engineer 3\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
