M&E Coordinator

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client, for the position of M&E Coordinator in Singapore.

Our client is seeking experienced professionals capable of coordinating mechanical and electrical engineering activities, supporting project execution, reviewing technical drawings, and ensuring effective coordination between site teams and contractors.

Candidates with strong practical M&E coordination experience are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate mechanical and electrical installation activities across project sites.
   

2. Review M&E drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
   

3. Coordinate with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and site supervisors.
   

4. Monitor installation progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings.
   

5. Identify and resolve clashes between mechanical, electrical, and structural services.
   

6. Support site inspections, testing, commissioning, and quality control activities.
   

7. Maintain progress reports, coordination records, and technical documentation.
   

8. Ensure M&E works comply with applicable safety procedures and project requirements.
   

Required Skills

• M&E Coordination: Practical experience coordinating mechanical and electrical works.
  

• Technical Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read M&E layouts, shop drawings, and construction plans.
  

• Site Execution: Knowledge of installation sequences, site coordination, and construction workflows.
  

• MEP Systems: Familiarity with HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection interfaces.
  

• Quality & Safety: Ability to monitor installation quality and site safety compliance.
  

Preferred Skills

• AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or BIM coordination experience.
  

• Familiarity with Singapore construction practices and relevant codes.
  

• Experience supporting testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
  

Work Experience Requirements

The client prefers well-experienced candidates, but has not specified minimum years.

For screening purposes, a typical 3–7 years of relevant M&E construction or building-services experience may be considered, subject to client approval. Experience handling multiple M&E trades and subcontractor coordination would be advantageous.
