Officer, Trade Finance Operations

StriveX is working with a regional Corporate Bank in Singapore seeking an experienced Trade Finance professional to join their operations team. This is a key role within the Trade Finance Operations function, offering the opportunity to handle end-to-end documentary trade transactions in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Manage the full spectrum of trade finance operations, including LC advising, LC issuance, document checking, and financing for both LC and non-LC transactions.
2. Liaise with clients on documentary requirements and provide operational guidance on trade finance matters.
3. Process accounting entries, reconciliations, and prepare reports related to trade service and finance activities.
4. Ensure all trade documents are compliant with the terms and conditions of letters of credit.
5. Administer and maintain accurate records of all trade-related documents.
6. Support ad-hoc operational tasks and projects as required.

Key Requirements

1. 3-5 years of hands-on experience in trade services or trade finance operations within the banking sector.
2. Strong knowledge of import and export trade transactions.
3. Familiarity with UCP600, ISBP, URC, URR, and Incoterms is an advantage.
4. Good understanding of AML/CFT regulations and compliance requirements in trade finance.
5. Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines.
