WHO

This award-winning international law firm is known for its entrepreneurial, client-first approach to corporate work, advising businesses, financial sponsors and family-owned enterprises on their most significant transactions. With a growing platform across the UK, Asia and the Middle East, the firm's Singapore corporate team sits within a wider regional practice and is looking to appoint an additional Partner — or a Legal Director/Counsel, depending on the size of the practice brought — to complement its existing M&A capability and support the office's next phase of growth.

WHAT

The role involves leading cross-border M&A mandates — acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and related corporate structuring — for a client base spanning entrepreneurs, private equity-backed businesses, family enterprises and listed companies. The successful hire will work alongside the existing Singapore corporate partner and the firm's broader Asia transactional team, taking a leading role in originating and managing client relationships, supervising associates, and contributing to the office's regional growth strategy.

YOU

You will be a senior M&A practitioner with genuine cross-border transactional experience, at partner level or as a senior counsel/legal director with a smaller but high-quality practice. You will be qualified in a common law jurisdiction (England & Wales, Singapore, Australia or a US state), and bring a portable book of business or loyal client following capable of transferring to and growing within the platform. You will be entrepreneurial and comfortable originating and managing your own client relationships within a collegiate, growth-focused team.
