[What the role is]
We are looking for a self-driven and committed individual to augment our research and surveillance programmes at the Environmental Health Institute (EHI). The successful candidate will work in the EHI and be part of a multi-disciplinary team that will focus on urban vector species in Singapore. You will have the chance to work with various inter-disciplinary teams. Key ongoing projects involve the i) study of Aedes albopictus and its control in a mosquito release programme; and ii) the use of pyriproxyfen in the boosted Sterile Insect Technique-Incompatible Insect Technique (SIT-IIT) approach.
