Probe Integration Engineer (Test Solutions Engineering)

Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.\n\nAs a Probe Integration Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc. within Test Solutions Engineering Department Key Equipment Group (KEG); you will have responsibilities for developing, deploying, and supporting Wafer Probe Equipment and Processes used in our manufacturing global locations with an emphasis on HBM (High Bandwidth Memory). The successful candidate will spend much of their time working on company-wide initiatives promoting greater quality, efficiency, and standardization of Probe operations together with enabling Probe roadmap technologies. A typical day in this position allows candidates to be creative and innovative in the deployment of first-of-a-kind solutions that solve complex problems. \n\nResponsibilities and Tasks:\n\nResponsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to, the following:\n\n * Integrate AI-assisted tool and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality or effectiveness. \n * Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing and sharing AI-enablement enhancement within one scope of work. \n * Deploy first-of-a-kind equipment and process capabilities through evaluations of Wafer Probers, Testers \u0026 Probe Cards\n * Collaborate with global teams to establish and implement the best-known method probe processes globally.\n * Engage equipment suppliers \u0026 vendors to address issues of quality, performance, and change management.\n * Establish manufacturing metrics to drive continuous improvement of equipment performance and processes.\n * Develop and deploy new methods or processes as necessary to resolve manufacturing issues.\n * Generate equipment specifications to meet safety and capability requirements of global manufacturing environments.\n * Support the development and integration of first-of-a-kind equipment and processes for high volume manufacturing.\n * Perform statistical analysis of manufacturing data to ensure that processes meet the required quality standards.\n * Effectively prepare and present information to manufacturing teams and Engineering Managers.\n * Maintain a strong collaborative relationship with peer groups in other functional areas including Manufacturing, Test Engineering, Process Engineering, and Quality Assurance.\n * Initiate and chair meetings with global manufacturing sites in support of your objectives.\n\n\n\nQualifications:\n\nSuccessful candidates for this position will have:\n\n * Excellent grasp of mechanical and electrical engineering fundamentals.\n * Proficiency in thermal systems, machine design, electro-mechanical controls and components, electrical circuits, materials selection, and mechanical stress analysis.\n * Proficiency in statistics, data analysis, and design of experiments.\n * High degree of self-initiative with an ability to think independently.\n * The ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and see them to a conclusion based on a given timeline.\n * Proficiency in project management.\n * Basic knowledge of 3D CAD software.\n * Strong working knowledge of MS Office products.\n * Ability to work well with others in cross functional initiatives and drive for results.\n * Flexibility to accommodate off-shift meetings in other time zones.\n * Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills \n * Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels \n * Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning \n * Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus \n * Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable \n * Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred \n * Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role\u2011appropriate AI literacy to use AI\u2011enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem\u2011solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.\n * Embody Micron\u2019s core values:\n * People \u2013 Respect, develop, and empower others\n * Innovation \u2013 Drive continuous improvement and breakthrough thinking\n * Tenacity \u2013 Show grit and determination\n * Collaboration \u2013 Build trust and foster teamwork\n * Customer Focus \u2013 Deliver excellence and value\n\n\n\nPreferred Experience:\n\n * Working knowledge of semiconductor processes and semiconductor device test methodology\n\n\n\nRequired Education:\n\n * A Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline\n\n\n\nAbout Micron Technology, Inc.\n\nWe are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
