An established, well-capitalised proprietary trading firm is seeking an exceptional Quantitative Researcher to join its systematic trading team.

Working alongside a high-performing research and trading group, you will develop, test and deploy quantitative trading strategies, with direct ownership over research, execution and PnL contribution. The role offers the opportunity to improve existing systematic strategies while also identifying and building new sources of alpha across digital assets and other liquid markets.

Key responsibilities:

• Research, develop and implement systematic trading strategies.
• Generate alpha through statistical, econometric and machine learning techniques.
• Analyse market microstructure, derivatives and alternative datasets to identify trading opportunities.
• Conduct robust backtesting, post-trade analysis and portfolio optimisation.
• Collaborate on execution, research infrastructure and strategy development.
• Help shape future research initiatives, new markets and the firm's long-term trading edge.

We're looking for candidates with:

• 2-5 years' experience in quantitative research or systematic trading on the buy side.
• A proven track record of developing alpha-generating systematic strategies.
• Strong ownership of research with measurable trading impact.
• An excellent quantitative background and programming skills.
• Interest or experience in digital assets is beneficial, although candidates from other liquid markets are also encouraged to apply.
