This is a highly visible regional leadership role responsible for shaping Pizza Hut’s Direct procurement strategy across APAC. Lead the development and execution of regional category strategies for all direct food and packaging categories across Asia, ANZ and India. Partner with Global Category Management, franchisees and cross-functional teams to deliver supplier innovation, commodity insight, supply resilience and sustainable value creation supporting Pizza Hut's growth agenda.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Lead regional sourcing strategy for all food and packaging categories across Asia, ANZ and India.
•Own category strategies covering proteins, dairy, bakery & grains, sauces, desserts and packaging.
•Develop strategic supplier partnerships driving innovation, quality, resilience and cost competitiveness.
•Lead regional RFPs and commercial negotiations.
•Monitor commodity markets and supply risks, providing market intelligence and mitigation strategies.
•Partner with QA and Food Innovation teams to commercialize new menu innovation and develop alternative suppliers.
•Drive specification harmonization and regional standardization where appropriate.
•Influence franchisees to maximize participation in regional sourcing initiatives, skus harmonizations work etc
•Partner closely with Global Category Managers to align regional and global strategies.
•Champion ESG and responsible sourcing initiatives.
•Travel approximately 10–20% .
QUALIFICATIONS :
•8+ years in procurement/category management, preferably QSR, FMCG or food manufacturing.
•5+ years leading regional or global category strategies.
•Strong commercial negotiation and supplier relationship management.
•Commodity intelligence and risk management experience.
•Growth mindset with strong learning agility.
•Ability to influence without authority across a matrix organization.
•Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
•Sense of urgency, ownership and ability to work across diverse cultures.
