Relationship Manager, Diversified Corporates

Responsibilities

1. Achieve the allocated KPIs in terms of loans outstanding, income and NPL ratio.
2. Marketing of the bank’s products and services to:
3. Medium and Large local and regional corporations and including listed and private companies;
4. trading companies that have been awarded Global Trade Programme status; and
5. family sponsor groups.

3. Work closely with:

1. Head Office and China branches on cross-referrals of customers.
2. Major corporate banks for invitations to participate in syndicated or club arrangements.

4. Build rapport with and service existing customers.

5. Submit credit proposals for new or increase deals

6. Monitor and perform timely credit reviews of existing customers.

7. Close monitoring of NPL accounts and provision.

8. Cross-sell the Bank’s products and services.

9. Cross-refer prospective customers to the other business units.

10. Ensure compliance to:

1. MAS regulations & HKMA regulations;
2. internal policy of the BEA Group;
3. matters relating to money laundering and anti-terrorism financing; and
4. reporting of suspicious transactions to Senior Management

Requirements

1. University degree in Accountancy, Business, Economics or related disciplines.
2. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, with focus on relationship management, trade finance and lending.
3. Experience covering mid to large corporate clients, with ability to independently manage relationships and develop accounts.
4. Strong credit writing skills with keen attention to detail; able to prepare clear, well-structured and comprehensive credit proposals.
5. Good understanding of trade finance and working capital solutions, with ability to support deal origination and execution.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage clients and internal stakeholders confidently.
7. Self-driven and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability in managing portfolios and delivering outcomes.
8. Able to work independently while maintaining strong discipline and follow-through in a lean team environment.
9. Proficiency in Mandarin would be advantageous to support client coverage needs.
