Securities Dealing Lead | Singapore | Build a Digital Brokerage Platform

An international wealth management group with a global platform and cross-border network is building its Singapore securities business. Combining securities trading with a broader wealth management offering, the business is seeking a hands-on Securities Dealing Lead to establish its front-office capabilities and deliver a seamless client trading experience.

This is an opportunity to take meaningful ownership in a lean team, working closely with management, product, technology and compliance to launch core trading capabilities and support the platform’s growth.

The opportunity

You will lead the development of the Singapore dealing function, with an initial focus on equities and related securities. Your remit will span trading workflows, platform enhancements, client service and the journey from account opening and funding through to execution.

Key responsibilities

1. Build and strengthen the dealing function, ensuring reliable, efficient and client-focused trading processes.
2. Drive the launch and enhancement of core equity trading capabilities.
3. Partner with product and technology teams on local requirements, user acceptance testing, feature releases and ongoing improvements.
4. Establish effective procedures for order handling, trading support, incident escalation and client enquiries.
5. Work with compliance and operations to embed appropriate trading controls and client protection throughout the trading journey.
6. Identify and resolve friction across onboarding, funding, trading and client servicing.
7. Support initiatives that increase client activation, trading activity and retention.
8. Develop front-office procedures, training practices and service standards to support business expansion.

What you bring

1. Relevant experience in Singapore securities brokerage, dealing, trading support or client trading services.
2. Strong knowledge of equity trading workflows, order handling and client requirements.
3. Practical understanding of MAS-regulated brokerage requirements, trading controls and operational processes.
4. Experience in trading platform launches, local feature implementation or digital brokerage enhancements.
5. The ability to translate business needs into practical product and process improvements.
6. Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving and execution skills.
7. A proactive approach and the willingness to take ownership across functions in a growing business.

Relevant Singapore securities qualifications, team leadership experience and exposure to ETFs, options, fixed income or other asset classes will be advantageous.
