As a Security Executive, you are responsible for the following key areas:

1. Staff and Guest Security


2. Life Safety / Emergency Preparedness


3. Departmental Safety and Loss Control


4. Other Safety / Loss Cohtrol Activities


5. Training


6. Discipline

Key Reponsibilities:

• Staff and Guest Security
  
  
  
  • Maintain high standards of security service to guest and employees
  
  
  • Enforce hotel rules and regulations
  
  
  
  

• Life Safety / Emergency Preparedness
  
  
  
  • Be conversant with all emergency procedures 
  
  
  • Handle emergency situations
  
  
  
  

• Departmental Safety / Loss Activities
  
  
  
  • Departmental compliance with Shangri-La Safety / Health and Loss Control Standard
  
  
  • Maintain employee awareness
  
  
  
  

• Other Safety / Loss Control Activities
  
  
  
  • Protection of Guest and Hotel assets
  
  
  
  

• Training
  
  
  
  • Conducts orientation and induction of new employees on the security aspect
  
  
  • Prepaare annual training plan
  
  
  • Conducts technical job knowledge training
  
  
  • Analyse training needs
  
  
  
  

• Discipline
  
  
  
  • Actively participate in activities, on-the-job trainings organised by Director of Security
  
  
  
  

Key Requirements:

• Has prior experience in the field of Security, preferably for 2 years and above


• Has a valid SO license
