Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

1. Lead end-to-end project management for application development and digital transformation projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, quality, and timeline.
   


2. Work closely with business stakeholders,product owners, and technical teams to gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
   


3. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, risk registers, and resource allocation plans while monitoring project progress and milestones.
   


4. Coordinate cross-functional teams, including software developers, QA engineers, UI/UX designers and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
   


5. Facilitate project meetings, sprint planning, status updates, and stakeholder communications using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
   


6. Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, ensuring timely resolution and effective escalation when required.
   


7. Review solution designs and technical documentation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
   


8. Track project performance using project management tools and provide regular reports to senior management on project status, budget, risks, and deliverables.
   


9. Support user acceptance testing (UAT),deployment planning, production rollout, and post-implementation reviews to ensure successful project delivery.
   


10. Drive continuous process improvement by promoting project management best practices, governance standards and effective collaboration across teams.
    

Requirements

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
   


2. Min 7 years of project management experience delivering application development, software implementation, or digital transformation projects.
   


3. Experience in application design and development using technologies such as Java, JavaScript, and SQL will be an added advantage.
   


4. Hands-on experience using collaboration and project management platforms such as Confluence, JIRA, and Balsamiq for project planning, requirements management, and documentation.
   


5. Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments. PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications will be an advantage
