Senior Relationship Manage

A leading international bank is expanding its Singapore wealth franchise for international Greater China clients. This is a senior, book-carrying seat on a funded, multi-year build-out, with relocation and certification support for the right person.

1. Cover international Greater China clients — mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan — for the bank's affluent and priority franchise, based in Singapore.
2. Bring and grow a portable book of HNW clients who want to book and invest their assets in Singapore.
3. Open Singapore accounts and advise across wealth, investment and insurance products.
4. Travel back to your market regularly to manage existing relationships.
5. Work alongside the bank's regional teams, who are an active referral source into the desk.

1. A senior affluent or private-wealth relationship manager — Premier, Priority, Priority Private, Private or International Banking. This is not a role for a local retail branch RM.
2. A genuinely portable HNW book with offshore appetite: clients who want to move assets into Singapore. Typical single client from SGD 1.5m.
3. At Associate Director level and above, the credibility to bring approximately SGD 40m of portable assets within the first twelve months.
4. Native or fluent Mandarin, plus professional English. Cantonese an advantage.
5. Willing to relocate to Singapore, and either eligible for Singapore work authorisation or already holding a pass.
6. Able to pass the Singapore CMFAS examinations within two to three months. Existing Hong Kong (HKSI/SFC) licensing is a strong signal, and holding CMFAS already is a significant advantage.
7. Able to write a credible business plan naming the clients you can move and the assets they will bring.

1. Base salary scales with the book you credibly bring. Your business plan sets the number rather than a fixed band, and there is real headroom for a strong book.
2. Relocation support: flights, serviced accommodation on arrival, and around two months paid while you sit your Singapore certifications.
3. A fast, decisive process — typically a single interview with the market head, with a decision inside the week.
4. Singapore is the bank's stated offshore centre for Greater China wealth, backed by a multi-billion-dollar, multi-year investment in the franchise and a large net-new-money target.
5. This is one of a substantial number of seats being filled on the same desk, so the hiring appetite is real rather than a single replacement.
