Job Description - Technical Business Analyst

Shuru is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements. You will work closely with clients, product teams, and engineers to improve processes and support successful software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and requirement documents.

Work with engineering teams to define system behaviour, data flows, APIs, and integration requirements.

Analyse existing processes and systems to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.

Collaborate with QA teams on test scenarios, support user acceptance testing, and coordinate stakeholder sign-off.

Manage requirement changes, assess their impact, and maintain traceability throughout delivery.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

Experience in technical business analysis for software development or IT projects.

Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum.

Working knowledge of SQL, databases, REST APIs, and system integrations.

Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications.

Experience with Jira, Confluence, and process-mapping tools.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience supporting testing, issue clarification, and business validation.
