WICA Claims Executive

We are partnering with a leading insurance company in Singapore to recruit a WICA Claims Executive to join its growing Claims team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage a portfolio of WICA (Work Injury Compensation Act) claims from first notification through to final settlement.
2. Conduct comprehensive claims assessment, determine liability, review medical reports, accident reports, wage records and supporting documentation.
3. Calculate compensation in accordance with WICA legislation while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal claims guidelines.
4. Liaise with employers, brokers, claimants, medical practitioners, Third Party Administrators (TPAs), loss adjusters, lawyers and service providers to facilitate efficient claims resolution .
5. Negotiate and settle claims within delegated authority while maintaining strong customer service standards.
6. Monitor claim reserves , identify recovery and subrogation opportunities, and ensure accurate claims reserving.
7. Prepare claims reports, analyse claims trends and contribute towards continuous process improvement.
8. Deliver exceptional stakeholder management while meeting turnaround times and service level agreements (SLAs).

We’re looking for candidates who have:

1. Experience in handling WICA / Work Injury Compensation Act claims within an insurance company, insurance broker , TPA or claims environment.
2. Possessed insurance certificates – BCP, PGI, CGI
