Intern - Business Platform

The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain. 

The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

Position Summary 

Consumer Business – Business Platforms team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our efforts in collaborating with Tech and Business teams to join the team.

This internship offers an opportunity to understand the Singapore and Regional payments landscape. Opportunities to support the team to deliver the future of NETS Business Platforms (NETS App, NETS Business App and NETS Merchant Portal) roadmaps. He/she will also learn and deliver marketing programs via the NETS App.

The intern will report directly to the lead of NETS Business Platform team and will play a contributing role in conducting research, preparing presentations, product testing and assisting in various reporting-related tasks. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Participate in technical discussion and solutioning for NETS APP, NETS Biz App and Merchant Portal


• Prepare User Stories, Business Requirements and Journey mapping


• Prepare wireframes for updated journeys


• Participate in App Live Verification and Testing during launches


• Help in administrative duties, such as Service Requests submissions and scheduling


• Research and prepare presentation material prior to meeting potential merchant for promotions/deals


• Monitor and report campaign usage


• Competitive landscape report on latest and attractive trends, deals and offers in the market


• Liaise with internal stakeholders to deliver promotions


• Competitive landscape report on Digital Payments 

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science of related disciplines.


• Strong understanding and knowledge of local digital payments facilities.


• Knowledge of current usage/promotions and digital payments landscape.


• Demonstrated passion to stay informed of current industry trends.
