Job Description - MBA Intern - Technical Project Management (CEO Office)

Description

About Rapsodo

Rapsodo is a global sports technology company with offices in Singapore, the United States, Türkiye, Japan, and Malaysia. We build data-driven, portable, and easy-to-use sports analytics products that help athletes at every level understand and improve their performance. From Major League Baseball pitchers to professional golfers, our technology is trusted by athletes and coaches worldwide — from youth development to elite competition. Our products deliver real-time, actionable insights that directly impact performance.

We operate at the intersection of hardware and software, designing and building integrated systems with a strong emphasis on accuracy, reliability, and performance. Rapsodo is a globally distributed team, working across regions, cultures, and time zones. What enables us to operate effectively is not just technical capability, but how we work — with ownership, clarity, and disciplined execution.

About the Role

This is not a typical MBA internship.

You will work directly with the CEO to drive execution across the Rapsodo Device Organization — the team responsible for building Rapsodo’s core products. You will be operating at the center of a global engineering organization, helping ensure priorities are clear, teams are aligned, and critical initiatives move forward without friction.

This role is designed for candidates with an engineering background who want to transition toward technical project or program management, with real exposure to leadership and decision-making.

You will not be observing from the sidelines. You will be expected to contribute to execution from the start.

Strong performance in this role can lead to a full-time Technical Project Manager position within the CEO Office or Rapsodo Device Organization.

What You Will Work On

  • Translate priorities into clear, structured execution plans across hardware, firmware, and software teams
  • Maintain visibility on progress across critical initiatives and ensure momentum is sustained
  • Coordinate across globally distributed teams to align on timelines, dependencies, and deliverables
  • Run execution cadences (check-ins, reviews, follow-ups) to drive accountability
  • Surface risks, bottlenecks, and misalignment early and help drive resolution
  • Provide clear, concise updates to the CEO on progress, issues, and next steps
  • Improve visibility and execution through simple, effective tracking and reporting systems
  • Apply AI tools to improve visibility, identify patterns and risks early, and enhance the speed and quality of execution

Requirements

Who Will Thrive in This Role

  • An engineering background with a solid understanding of how products are built end-to-end
  • Comfort operating across different cultures, time zones, and working styles
  • Ability to bring structure to complexity and keep multiple workstreams aligned
  • Strong sense of ownership, with consistent follow-through and a focus on closing loops
  • Clear and direct communication, particularly when identifying issues or misalignment
  • A focus on execution and outcomes rather than analysis alone
  • Confidence working closely with leadership and operating in a high-expectation environment
  • A mindset that prioritizes early signals over late surprises, with a preference for structured execution over reactive firefighting
  • Curiosity about how AI can be applied to improve execution, decision-making, and product outcomes
  • A proactive approach to leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, insight generation, and workflow efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or related fields)
  • 3-5 years of hands-on engineering experience
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed an MBA
  • Ability to operate credibly with engineering teams from day one
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and practical experience using AI tools to improve analysis, workflows, or execution
