Civil Engineer /Civil Technologist

SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Civil Engineer (Qualified)/Civil Technologist (Qualified). We have a new permanent role in Pretoria.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:
- Planning, conceptual design, detail design, specifications, procurement process, administration, contract administration and project management of civil engineering projects.
- Carrying out measurements and valuations to produce accurate project schedules, quantities and valuations at all stages of a project.
- Providing project information and assistance to Project Leaders to enable effective project management.
- Construction contract documentation compilation ( GCC and FIDIC) and procurement processes.
- Report compilation, for civil projects.
- Assistance with technical advancement by pursuing technical excellence and maintaining quality assurance on projects.
- Ensuring that project timelines and deliverables are met.
- Excellent technical writing skills, with good communication and time management skills.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of statutory procedures and technical standards.
- Ability to work independently, but also to function well in a team environment.
- Self-motivation.
- Soft skills required to maintain client relations. Qualifications And Experience:
- B Eng/BSc/B Tech Eng in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3-6 years post-graduation experience
- Experience in AutoCAD, Civil3D, WaterMate and PipeMate or similar design packages will be an advantage.
- Experience in designing municipal services (water & sanitation, roads and stormwater, internal, link and bulk) Requirements:
