Direct Sales Assistant

The main purpose of his role is to offer assistance to employees and where applicable (customers) in the factory shop. The primary duties include all aspects of stock process pricing and payments with extreme accuracy as well as the total upkeep of the factory shop.

• Accurately processing sale transactions
• Place stock orders for SOILL stores on daily and weekly basis
• Place stock orders with external vendors on weekly basis
• Manage and ensure stock levels are maintained
• Loading Vendor Purchase orders (PO) in system and follow up on approval and payments with finance
• Daily cash up s
• Scanning goods and ensuring pricing is accurate
• Load correct monthly and special pricing in system and drive approvals
• Monthly/weekly stock take as required
• Replenish supply of stock on shelves
• Donations booked and invoiced as per HR instruction
• Maintain outlook of store through cleaning dusting of shelves fridges and equipment
• Receiving stock and managing thereof

Health and Safety

• Participate in safety forums created by Soill for example safety meetings and safety talks
• Followup on any activities assigned through safety meetings / committees / representatives / management
• Report all safety incidents to the relevant people
• Attend safety education and refresher programmes
• Comply with safety policies and procedures at Soill
• Distribute safety information as and when required
• Wear protective clothing (where applicable) at all times
