Job Title: Equipment Technician - EL, Eastern Cape Contract Location: Eastern Cape, South Africa Contract Type: Temporary Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an Equipment Technician to join our team in Eastern Cape on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of equipment to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to identify and address any issues in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic problems with the equipment
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs
- Coordinate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient work flow
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Equipment Technician or similar role
- Technical certification or diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Additional Information:
- The position is based in Eastern Cape, South Africa
- This is a temporary contract position with the possibility of extension
