Fleet Controller

My client is a powerhouse in the waste management industry looking for a logistics fleet controller.

 
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the smooth and safe operations of my client’s waste management fleet.

 
Roles and responsibilities:
Monitor and track fleet vehicles to ensure on-time delivery and efficient routing.
Schedule and coordinate vehicle maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure safety compliance.
Manage fuel inventory and consumption to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Coordinate with drivers to address any issues or concerns during transportation.
Develop and implement strategies to improve fleet performance and reduce operating costs.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Analyze data and generate reports on fleet performance for management review.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve fleet management processes.

 
Minimum Requirements and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics or fleet management
Track record of route planning to ensure timely management of the fleet
Great communication skills
Proficient in MS Office and fleet management software
