The role:

As the marketing and communications manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the brand's future. You'll lead a dynamic team, design cutting-edge campaigns, and engage with diverse audiences to amplify the company message.

In order to engage with the diverse nature of the community, it is essential that you are 100% bilingual in both English and Afrikaans. Other language proficiency would be to your advantage, especially in communicating with diverse farming communities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute integrated marketing and communications strategies, including digital and social
• Lead branding, PR, and communications campaigns
• Analyse market trends and adjust strategies accordingly
• Foster relationships with media and stakeholders
• Manage budgets and ensure ROI of marketing campaigns
• Liaise with international suppliers managing co-branding strategies
• Develop marketing collateral; hands-on design abilities would be to your advantage

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
• At least ten years' experience in the marketing and communications industry, in a management position with a product marketing focus, not a service industry
• The marketing and communications manager will work closely with various development managers for silage, feedlots, dairy, swine, and poultry
• Experience working with external service providers for PR, design, and digital development is required
• Strong interpersonal relationship abilities, working with clients who are primarily farmers, feedlots, and feed mills
• Must be open to travel, as your presence will be required at various trade shows throughout Southern Africa
