We are currently seeking a highly skilled PLC Programmer to join an esteemed company in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal. As a PLC Programmer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of software across various platforms. Reporting directly to the Automation Engineering Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team that values teamwork, transparency, and accountability above all. Requirements:

• 2-3 years of PLC programming experience in the automotive industry (non-negotiable).
• Essential experience with Mitsubishi PLC programming, Omron and/or Toyopuc software.
• National Diploma and/or N3 in Electrical Engineering is advantageous.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Develop software in accordance with client specifications.
• Meet with customers onsite to discuss detailed requirements.
• Design hardware concepts prior to implementation.
• Manage documentation and backups.
• Oversee commissioning and handover processes.
• Adhere to health and safety requirements.
• Follow any other instructions given by the Automation Engineering Manager.
• Excellent time management skills.
• High level of motivation.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
