Product Development Specialist

SUMMARY: An established manufacturer agrochemicals is seeking the above to conduct product development for both existing and new agricultural products from inception to registration, including commercialisation and post launch related developments.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Must have a tertiary qualification in Agriculture
• Minimum 2 year proven working experience in a similar role is essential
• Must be a team player, exercise a high degree of self-discipline, confidentiality, and demonstrative initiative
• Good communication skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, will be required
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel

• Developing new and existing agricultural products.
• Writing trial protocols.
• Executing and supervising trials to a GLP Standard.
• Formulating and assessing trial reports to registration application standards.
• Working with internal Trialists and Trial Consultants.
• Compiling documents for applications to the Registrar Act 36.
• Researching new product opportunities and trends in Agriculture globally.
• Performing project pipeline management, progress tracking and reporting.
