Job Description:
Our client a global leader and supplier of mining and construction equipment and tools is currently seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager to join their team across all product portfolios. The primary focus of this role will be to increase revenue by fostering lasting customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to shaping strategic plans for the Sales Area to drive growth and market expansion.
- Evaluate the full potential of client accounts with particular products & services fostering future business opportunities.
- Create and execute tailored business plans for local accounts to secure and grow business within designated territories.
- Implement performance management strategies including talent development and succession planning to optimize team effectiveness.
- Act as the primary contact for customers coordinating seamless delivery of products and services to meet their needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop specialized business strategies for equipment aftermarket and workshops in assigned regions.
- Provide guidance to customers in forecasting their equipment parts and service requirements.
- Drive revenue growth and operational efficiency across equipment aftermarket workshops and customer service through effective sales execution.
Requirements : Qualification and Skill
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Business Management (NQF 7)
- Minimum 5 years of Sales Experience
- Business Development Experience in Mining Sector
- Proficient in English
- Willingness to Travel
