Operations Associate

Job Description:

Kumba Iron Ore, a leading mining company based in Cape Town, is seeking a part-time Operations Associate to join their team at the Associate Level. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, be hardworking, motivated, possess strong presentation skills, and excel in time management.

Responsibilities: - Assist in coordinating and executing operational activities within the company. - Provide support in managing day-to-day operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. - Analyze data and prepare reports to support decision-making processes. - Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations and achieve organizational goals. - Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency and optimize processes.

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations or a similar role. - Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. - Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with data analysis tools. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
