Job Description - Office Manager - Remote Work

Job Description:


Woolworths Holdings is seeking a highly motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as a part-time Office Manager in a remote work setting. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our virtual office and supporting our team in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA.


Responsibilities: - Manage and coordinate administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and organizing files - Support team members with various tasks as needed, including data entry, research, and project coordination - Assist in the onboarding process for new employees and provide ongoing support for team members - Maintain and improve office procedures and ensure all systems are running efficiently - Act as the point of contact for all virtual office inquiries and escalate issues as necessary - Monitor and manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure everything is in working order - Handle basic accounting tasks such as invoicing, tracking expenses, and managing budgets - Coordinate travel arrangements and expenses for team members as needed


Requirements: - 1+ years of experience in office management or a related field - Strong emotional intelligence and decision-making skills - Excellent communication and organizational abilities - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual communication tools - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Experience with remote work and managing virtual offices is a plus - Must be motivated and able to work with minimal supervision - Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred
