Licensed Pharmacist - Medical Supply Services ManagerJob Title: Medical Supply Services ManagerPurpose of the Job:• To take ownership of the MedSupply Services strategy and implement in country/countries of responsibility • To ensure the growth of the Medical Supply Arrangement services business through quality service • To manage the Medical Supply Arrangement Services provided to clients in the location• To identify and manage suitable vendor/s to work with including but not limited to contracting with the vendor/s, manage the quality of services and carry out the appropriate credentialing & audits on vendors • To manage the timely delivery of Medical Supply Arrangement Services to clients (from the receipt of a Quotation Request, delivery to Client Invoicing). To ensure accurate and timeline invoicing to client and capture of cost upon completion of delivery. • To manage the accuracy and timely payment to supplier and invoicing our client • To ensure compliance to the Business Rules and all Processes & Procedures of the company. • To arrange and support the Medical Equipment Calibration and Rental services for the country/countries of responsibility Key Responsibilities:Medical Supply Arrangement Services •To manage the timely delivery of Medical Supply Arrangement Services to clients (from the receipt of a Quotation Request to the delivery to Client up to Invoicing) • Ensure that all items ordered conform to the Group or Regional Standard List or per client’s requirement. Any purchase outside the Group or Regional Standard List is to be escalated to MedSupply Services Manager, Asia & SEA, for review. • To comply to GAPP, Group Standards on Process and Procedures, Business Rules for Medical Supply Arrangement Services and new procedures implemented from time to time in delivering the Medical Supply Arrangement Services • To identify suitable supplier/s providing best pricing for our clients • To contract with suitable supplier/s and manage the quality of services • To carry out the appropriate credentialing / audits on supplier/s annually • To ensure prompt provider payment to supplier/s upon fulfillment of the order per agreement terms • To maintain accurate tracking processes for all orders and monitoring of vendor/s service quality (Turnaround time, accuracy of orders. Product quality etc.) • To build and maintain a positive working relationship with the supplier/sMedical Equipment Calibration and Rental services • To organize and oversee for the delivery of the Medical Equipment Calibration and/or Rental Services Management • To manage the services provided by the Global Shared Services to ensure accurate capture of cost and timely invoicing to client upon completion of delivery. • To provide accurate and timely monthly report on Medical Supply Arrangement Services activity of the location • To lead and manage all supply executives to deliver the quality Medical Supply services and uphold the MS Strategy with full compliance to GAPP, Group Standard Processes & Procedures and MSC Business Rules. OHS Statement • Participate in the development and maintenance of a safe and healthy workplace. • Undertake all mandatory OH&S training as required. • Comply with any reasonable instructions, policies, procedures or safe work practices given by Intl.SOS in adhering to safe work procedures. • Co-operate with management in its fulfilment of its legislative obligations. • Take reasonable care to ensure their own health and safety and the safety of others. • To report any injury, hazard or illness as soon as possible to their supervisor. Other Duties • To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the functional/ line manager. • To work flexible hours as appropriate to the needs of the post. • To remain contactable for urgent, follow up outside of office hours Required Skills and Knowledgeo Ability to communicate and influence others with confidence and professionalismo Ability to communicate ideas with clarity and impact on audience, both in oral and written o Knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, trends and information affecting his/her business and organization, knows the competition and is aware of how strategies work in the marketplaceo Can negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups; can settle differences with minimum noise, can win concessions without damaging relationships; can be both direct and forceful as well as diplomatic; gains trust quickly of other parties to the negotiations; have a good sense of timing. • Good planning, organization, and time management skills o Ability to effectively plan or organize activities in a timely and organized manner o Uses his/her time effectively and efficiently; can attend to a broader range of activities o Spends his/her time and the time of others on what’s important, quickly zeros in on the critical few and puts the trivial many aside; can quickly sense what will help or hinder accomplishing a goal: eliminates roadblocks, creates focus • Good analytical skills o Ability to gather and analyze information/statistics using logical thinking and to maximize the information by applying the information to achieve desired results.• Good problem solving and decision-making skills o Ability to define problems, analyze the possible causes, create options, select the most feasible option and implement solutions to problems. • Good computer software skills, specifically, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Database software and Internet Usage o Knowledge and competency in usage of computer software to achieve the requirements of the job • Self-assurance in dealing with a wide variety of people o Must have maturity and professionalism in interacting with others o Ability to work with all levels in the organization. • Ability to work in a multicultural environment o Ability to understand and practice diversity.
