The Job

We are seeking an ambitious individual to join our enthusiastic team as a Bid Writer/Project Manager. In the role, you will manage multiple high-value bids for our international customers simultaneously whilst ensuring that all deadlines are met. You will be responsible for analysing requirements, defining a bid plan, assigning tasks, and also writing much of the bid whilst ensuring that it is completed on time and to the highest possible standard. It is worth noting that bid writing can be quite different from other types of writing; you will need to be able to take in technical detail, emphasise the benefits and value the product can bring to a potential client, and make sure the content is tailored to the specific question.

The role will be offered full-time and is a permanent position with a 6-month trial period with a fixed monthly salary. It’s worth noting that the role might sometimes require working outside traditional office hours as you will be working with external stakeholders based around the globe. Please note that we require all candidates to be located in Europe. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing the majority of entire bids for our international customers.

• Manage and coordinate multiple bids to ensure they are completed on time.

• Proactively drive bid projects forward through facilitating and encouraging collaboration across multiple stakeholders to ensure projects are completed successfully.

• Organise and plan bid project tasks and schedules.

• Communicate bid project status to global stakeholders and key project participants.

• Manage bid project progress and adapt work as required.

• Overseeing all incoming and outgoing bid project documentation.

• Participating in tender processes i.e. design, submission, and review.

• Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary.

• Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects.

• Preparing and leading bid project meetings including project team meetings, steering meetings (if appropriate), kickoff, closure etc.

The Individual:

The individual we are looking for as our new Bid Writer/Project Manager should have the following skills and experiences:

• Highly proficient in business English, both written and spoken.

• The ability to write clearly and concisely in business English.

• Demonstrable problem-solving and project management experience and skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• An analytical mind.

• Interest in technology.

• Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships.

• A keen understanding of business and commercial priorities/processes.

• A keen eye for detail and a desire to probe further into data.

• We are open to non-Swedish speaking candidates.

Necessary qualifications:

• Relevant university education.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and GSuite tools.

Meriting:

• Experience in bid writing or other professional content writing would be advantageous.

• Knowledge of project management methodologies.

• Proficiency in another language.
