The Atlas Copco Group Tax team is a 30-35 people strong international team located in Nacka, Sweden and several other countries. You, as a Corporate Tax Expert, will be part of the Group Tax team in Sweden that has the overall responsibility for tax matters of Atlas Copco Group.

With subsidiaries in more than 70 countries, the position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a broad variety of interesting and challenging tax issues in a successful global industrial company. You will be part of a tight-knit team working with various international and domestic tax matters. Our mission is to proactively manage tax issues to ensure tax compliance and tax efficiency. To achieve our goals, the team combines creativity, structure, and capacity to deliver high quality output.

The role of the Corporate Tax Expert is to support the Group Tax team on general corporate tax matters including various tax reporting and analyses. The role also gives possibilities to work with digital transformation of main tasks. The main tasks for the position are:

• Quarterly and annual group tax reporting including analyses of Group’s income tax expense, effective tax rates, tax losses carried forward and paid taxes,
• Forecasting of cash taxes and effective tax rate,
• Improve and develop internal process and control for tax reporting and analyses,
• Provide advice and support with Swedish tax calculations and income tax returns,
• Global reporting requirements such as OECD Pillar Two,
• Provide advice and support on day-to-day general tax matters, e.g. tax accounting or tax compliance,
• Support the Group Tax team with the digital transformation journey, and
• Additional ad hoc duties to meet the Group´s needs.

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for a person with a degree in Business & Economics or Law and with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in international and domestic corporate tax matters. You have great data analysis skills and strong skills in Excel. Experience in tax accounting, ERP and/or consolidation systems is an advantage. The position occasionally requires travelling.

• You have strong technical and analytical skills, including preparation of detailed tax reports and analyses
• You have excellent communication skills in English and Swedish (written and oral)
• You are a team player and function well in project teams

Education

You hold an academic degree in Business & Economics or Law.
