Data Scientist

The intersection of data science, analytics, and business insights has opened a huge, and largely untapped potential. We are looking for a Data Scientist to join Nepa’s Data Science team and work together with us to deliver actionable insights to +500 blue chip companies.

Your role as Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist at Nepa, you will partake in both research and development as well as implementation of advanced algorithms and models, aimed to deliver real value to our clients. You will join a brilliant team of Data Scientists, working across Nepa’s core products. You will also be in close contact with other key stakeholders across the company, working together to take our products to the next level.

Your responsibilites:

- Model development: Develop, deploy and maintain ML models in production, serving both internal and external stakeholders.

- Advanced analysis: You leverage in-depth technical expertise to help solve our clients’ most demanding problems. Furthermore, are mindful of how technical design choices impact client value.

- Enable efficient work across the wider team: Maintain tooling, development environments and partake in continuous distribution of knowledge 

- Cross-functional collaboration: Work together with teams across tech, product, sales and marketing. We believe that the best products are built when combining different domain expertise’s. 

- Staying on top of industry trends: Both tech and marketing are rapidly evolving industries. Nepa takes prides in our position as thought leaders, and places a big focus on staying up-to§-date in order to remain one step ahead.

Your Profile:

- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or similar 

- Practical experience from a similar role

- Proficiency in Python

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Great problem solving skills, with an ability to balance technical requirements with client needs

- You are fluent in English, both in writing and speech.

- You have a Swedish work permit.

Although not required, previous experience of Marketing Mix Modelling, Bayesian statistics, CI/CD, GCP and Vertex AI is highly valued.
