About the role
The role's primary focus revolves around strategic and operational management of Office 365 and Microsoft 365 services, such as Office 365, SharePoint, Outlook, and Teams. This includes overseeing and optimizing both productivity and device-related services.

You will be part of our Operations team responsible for all operations and development of the group's central and global IT environments. The team provides services and products to meet the requirements and needs of the business on-premises and within various cloud services.

As an Operations Engineer at Hedin IT, you will have varied tasks within operations, administration, installation, and troubleshooting of our IT infrastructure.

A working day may also include:

• Handling of operational issues within data centers, Windows Server, Azure, Application Management, and Networks

• Project work in infrastructure, migrations, and cloud solutions

• Proactive work to maintain our IT environments and work broadly within operations

What you will bring
To thrive in this role, we believe you are self-reliant, proactive, and possess strong problem-solving skills. We tackle technical challenges together, therefore we believe that you enjoy contributing to a good team spirit and knowledge sharing. You have a broad understanding of both application management and networking but you want to take on a greater focus on Microsoft 365.

Furthermore, we believe that you have previous experience with Microsoft's products and services, Windows Server, Hyper-V, VMware, SQL Server, and Meraki.

Ideally, you have:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role

• Experience in setting up IT environments and installing both physical and virtual servers

• Experience in installing, publishing, and managing applications

• Experience in migrations, both on-premises and cloud

If you also have experience in cloud-based service delivery in Azure and Terraform, we see it as a big plus
