Job Description - Sales Manager, Ljunghäll

Do you have a passion for business development and wish to work with strategic sales within the automotive industry? Perfect! Ljunghäll is currently seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Sales Manager. Are you the person we are looking for?

As a Sales Manager at Ljunghäll, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies that create long-term value for us and our customers. Each business is unique, and our focus lies in understanding and addressing the specific needs of our customers. The sales organization at Ljunghäll is the natural interface between the customer's organization and our project and production departments. Your work typically takes place in project form, where close collaboration with various functions and colleagues within the company is crucial. In your everyday role as Sales Manager, you can look forward to stimulating workdays where you are responsible of:

  • Setting goals for the customer portfolio and monitoring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinating sales activities within the company.
  • Negotiating and drafting agreements and contracts.
  • Pricing, project calculations, and profitability assessments.
  • Coordinating the RFQ process and proactively engaging with customers to define technical needs to support them in the product development process.
  • Conducting market and competitor analyses.
  • Coaching, inspiring, and leading the GAM team in Sweden, currently consisting of 4 employees.

To excel in this role, it is ideal if you have a proven track record in leadership role that involves direct customer interaction, business development, product management, or manufacturing. Perhaps you are currently working in a similar role or have experience from the opposite side of the negotiating table in a role like Purchasing Manager or Project Manager? The most important thing for us is that you are passionate about developing customers and businesses, have a high technical understanding, and are well-versed in the requirements that leading companies in the automotive industry place on their suppliers. While an engineering education is considered a solid foundation, we also welcome candidates who have gained equivalent knowledge through work experience. Furthermore, you must be fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Your personal qualities are important to us. We want to work with someone who is confident, and inspiring with a high energy level and strong business acumen. You are concerned with creating a profound understanding of each customer and have the ability to translate the customers’ requests into attractive business proposals. You will report to the COO, and the position is based at our site in Södra Vi, with the possibility of remote work. Traveling within and outside Sweden is a natural part of this role.
