For this role, we’re looking for the following skills and requirements:

• Proficiency in  BrightScript with a demonstrated ability to write high-quality code.
• Extensive knowledge of the  SceneGraph framework and adept at optimizing task and render threads for improved performance.
• Skilled in creating responsive user interfaces that enhance user interaction and satisfaction.
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing essential video player features for  Roku applications aimed at consumers.
• Familiarity with  RESTful APIs and proficiency in both unit testing and end-to-end testing methodologies.

Core Requirements:

• Solid skills with BrightScript, BrighterScript and JavaScript.
• Experience with Roku SDK, VOD, SceneGraph, Contract Testing.
• Experience with platforms such as Stick, Settop and TV.

Other traits:

• English fluency and great communication skills.
• Previous experience working in a remote environment.
