Job Description - Operations Manager - Remote Work

Job Description:


SunTrust Banks is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Operations Manager to join our team on a part-time basis with remote work flexibility. The Operations Manager will play a key role in overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our organization, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.


Responsibilities: - Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness - Oversee the performance of various operational departments, including but not limited to customer service, supply chain management, and logistics - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and streamline operations - Analyze operational data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement - Monitor and maintain quality standards across all operational functions - Manage and mentor a team of operations staff, providing guidance and support as needed - Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of services - Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends to continuously improve operational performance


Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field - Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management or a similar role - Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset to drive innovation and change - Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage a team and collaborate with stakeholders - Proficient in data analysis and reporting to make informed decisions - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment - Experience working remotely and managing remote teams is a plus - Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence
