Job Description - Contact Center Manager

Job Description:


Big Lots, a leading retail company in Basel, Kanton Basel Landschaft, CH, is seeking a Contact Center Manager to join our dynamic team. This part-time position is ideal for a candidate with 7 years of experience in a contact center environment. As a mid-to-senior level manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our contact center, ensuring that our team provides exceptional customer service and support.


Responsibilities: - Manage a team of contact center agents, providing leadership and guidance to ensure high performance and productivity - Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency - Monitor and analyze call center metrics to identify trends and make data-driven decisions - Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and collaboration in delivering a seamless customer experience - Implement training programs and performance management initiatives to enhance the skills and capabilities of the team - Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner - Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and technology trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement


Requirements: - 7 years of experience in a contact center environment, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role - Adaptable and dedicated personality traits - Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate a team - Innovative mindset and ability to drive change and improvement - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
