What does a Teacher do?

Teachers are responsible for imparting knowledge to children. They inspire, encourage, motivate, and educate learners. They are responsible for developing lesson plans and instructing pupils at all levels. Their responsibilities include providing assignments, grading tests, and tracking progress. Teachers must be able to teach a range of subjects while also engaging students with intriguing lesson ideas. Their main aim is to create the interest of their pupils towards education and growth. They are mainly involved in grading homework, assessing students' progress, and arranging instructional activities. Enthusiasm, the ability to connect with students, and the ability to build a relationship of mutual trust are some of the main traits present in a teacher.

● Creating a curriculum to fulfil developmental objectives and instructional activities. ● Preparing lecture materials and managing the classroom ● Evaluating and grading papers ● Providing proper comments and feedbacks to students ● Communicating openly and respectfully with families, co-workers, supervisors, and other school personnel ● Assessing students' progress and accomplishments on a regular basis ● Giving progress reports in relation to their academic goals ● Maintaining the record for attendance and other notable occurrences in compliance with standards and programme regulations ● Attending conferences and workshops for the enhancement of professional growth ● Managing the conduct of the students in accordance with the prescribed rules ● Creating a secure, flourishing, and courteous atmosphere in the classroom ● Creating and executing age-appropriate curriculum ● Assigning and grading homework, assignments, and test

Requirements of a Teacher

The desirable qualifications for the position of a Teacher are:
● Bachelor’s Degree from recognised University. ● Appropriate age/grade level teaching credential/certificate/license ● Prior teaching experience ● Highly developed oral and written communication skills ● Comprehensive understanding of instructional methodologies and legal, educational procedures ● Must not have any criminal cases or records pending before the Courts
