Responsibilities: Participation and input towards Sales &  Marketing activities. Implement revenue management strategies. Lead team leaders to establish business strategies and governance management. Manage challenges with resilience. Manage the service brand. Manage crisis situations. Manage guest concerns and feedback. Manage guest experiences. Manage loss/risk prevention. Manage meetings. Participate in dispute resolution. Solve problems and make decisions on a managerial level. Supervise, motivate and empower staff. Support the establishment of a framework for initiative and enterprise. Write or draft proposals. Entertainment of potential and existing customers Preparation of Sales Promotions & Mailings. Development and maintenance of all department control procedures. Development and maintenance of department manual. Supervision of weekly input. Be available to Hotel Staff at all times in case of emergency. Must have a complete knowledge of Procedures. Have a complete understanding of the hotels monthly forecast and the come up with continuous initiatives in order to achieve it in all key segments. Management of the strategies relating to the sourcing, identifying and development of new business. Manage familiarization trips to nurture new business and highlight the unique features of our Hotels. An Assistant Director of Sales is in charge of training, development and on the job coaching of the local Sales Team. This also includes succession planning and future talent banking. Qualifications: Requires substantial and successful track record in hotel operations Bachelor Degree in Hotel, or related. Sales skills  Marketing and stragic skills Minimum 5 years hotel experience required including seven years of supervisory experience. Must have previously held an Executive Committee position. Practical knowledge in the application of a personal computer for the purpose of storing, developing, and analyzing information. Requires the exercise of considerable managerial skills as position involves frequent decisions, meeting of deadlines, negotiations of contracts of vendors, analytical ability and the planning, organizational development, and coordination of large scale work projects. Demonstrated ability to initiate, complete and finish tasks and projects. Ability to effectively communicate in English with employees and customers, understand reports and related correspondence, and accurately perform all essential job functions.
