We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Chinese Chef (Local Package) specializing in Sichuan cuisine to join our esteemed culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in preparing authentic Sichuan dishes while upholding the highest standards of quality and innovation. Responsibilities: Create and execute a diverse range of Sichuan dishes, adhering to traditional recipes and techniques while infusing creativity and innovation. Lead the Chinese kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences for our guests, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and service. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B team to develop seasonal menus and special promotions featuring Sichuan cuisine. Oversee kitchen operations including food preparation, inventory management, and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Stay abreast of industry trends and developments in Sichuan cuisine, incorporating new techniques and ingredients into menu offerings. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Chinese Chef specializing in Sichuan cuisine, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment. Extensive knowledge of Sichuan culinary traditions, ingredients, and flavor profiles, with a demonstrated ability to execute authentic dishes to the highest standards. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of culinary professionals. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a passion for excellence in every dish. Formal culinary training and relevant certifications are highly desirable. Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is advantageous.
