Head of Sales Distributed - Asia Pacific About the Role Location Thailand Krung Thep Maha Nakhon Bangkok Company Siemens Energy Limited Organization Gas Services Business Unit Service Asia Pacific Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Sales Distributed for Asia Pacific region to drive our Distributed service sales portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales strategies, enhancing market penetration, and ensuring that Service revenue and growth targets are met across the Asia Pacific markets for Industrial Gas turbines and Compressors. This role is pivotal in strengthening our presence and expanding our customer base in a competitive and rapidly evolving industry. You will manage multiple teams and managers across the region to ensure they identify the client project evaluators, influencers and decision-makers in customer organization and drive the Siemens Energy value at each stage of acquisition cycle.How You’ll Make an ImpactDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in Asia Pacific.Lead and mentor the sales teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.Work with new equipment sales teams to bring growth to organization on wall-to-wall basis.Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.Network with customers at management levels, build long term strategic relationships and be actively involved in key decisions on projects.Provide accurate sales forecasts and timely reports to Regional Service Unit and Execution Unit Management.Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competitive landscape.Collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, Product Development, Execution and Customer Support teams to ensure brand consistency and increase sales both at regional and global level.Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to maintain a high profile and professional network within the energy sector.The role reports directly to the Head of Gas Service for Asia Pacific, who reports to the Executive Management Board member of Siemens EnergyWhat You BringBachelor's and master’s degree in engineering or equivalent.At least 10 years of experience in the energy industry, with a proven track record of sales leadership roles, preferably related to gas turbines or similar rotating equipment technologies.At least 5 years of people management experience including experience as manager of managers.Strong understanding of the Asia Pacific energy market, regulatory environment, and cultural nuances.Develop and executed short, mid, and long-term strategy to grow across portfolio.Build an impactful and sustainable organization to continue the growth journey for the Distributed portfolio in Asia Pacific.Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, especially at executive and C-level.Ability to manage large order volumes and experience in negotiating large contracts and managing sales cycles from plan to close.Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills for large teams.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in additional Asian languages knowledge is a plus.Be able to work in a matrix organization.Willingness to travel frequently across the region and globally as needed.
