Job Purpose:TheSales Manager is accountable for proactively soliciting and managing salesopportunities in line with the annual business development and sales plan, andto achieve/exceed budget in executing the sales strategy of the Hotel. Generatenew accounts and building relationship within assigned segments. Providesufficient leads to achieve objectives and goals.Duties and Responsibilities: · Achievedaily and monthly targeted number of sales activities with effectiveness · Developbusiness leads for the Hotel on a weekly basis · Preparemonthly list of accounts to penetrate for the following month · Plana minimum of 2 site inspections/entertainment meetings per week to qualifiedpotential accounts or new accounts · UpdateDirector of Sales on market trends and business leads · Preparemonthly action plan for main market segment and implement an accountdevelopment plan for key accounts to achieve maximum revenue in both short andlong term · Performmonthly review account profile on room nights production and average rate · Fullyresponsible of accounts under his/her management to achieve financial andnon-financial objectives , including contracting, updating profile and renewingcontracts · Up-sell,cross-sell and promote Hotel facilities & services at every availableopportunity in order to maximize sales revenue · Conductnegotiations to achieve the best profit and rates for The Standard, BangkokMahanakhon · Updatemanagement and other departments on VIP arrivals, meet and greet accordingly · Attendoverseas trade shows, key clients events, FAM trips and sales trip as planned,submitted and approved at the beginning of each year and updated calendar ateach quarter · Ensurethat all accounts profile, all sales reports and any other relevant informationare updated · Developand maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employeesand departments · Maintainconfidentiality of proprietary materials and information · Followcompany and department policies and procedures Benefits - Competitive salary packages - 2 days off per week - Housing & TelephoneAllowance - Birthday leave - ProvidentFund - Health & Group Life Insurance - Annual Physical Checkup - Training Development Program - Staff Discount Rate in STANDARD HOTELS worldwide
