Purpose Of the roleWork with the Area Delivery leader and Less Container Load (LCL) leader peers In the Area to set the strategic direction for La Delivery. Structure, staff and manage the Area or Country LCL Delivery team to run the LCL business efficiently in accordance to defined product commitments. Build an engaged organization with continuous development of all Individuals skills and identify talent potential to coach on an expedited development trajectory. Lead LCL teams on Maersk's transformation journey through adoption of new ways of working with an emphasis on digital-driven habits internally and with customers.Responsibility:Drive LCL Delivery functional outcomesSet and lead teams through dearly defined annual targets rooted in of actives balancing quality, cost and consistency.Monitor service quality of LCL Delivery across customers and routings (MLC, Hub/Gateway, Co-load), Including LTL Inland pick-up and delivery execution, and act on non-compliance to defined product or customer standards.Ensure Delivery teams provide speedy LCL order issue and exception resolution with CX.Work with internal stakeholders to fine-tune all facets of running LCL Delivery Safety (HSSE), Control (Finance), Cost (Procurement), Product Standardization (Product / Sales), Process Efficiency (CI) etc.Develop and sustain a capable LCI. Delivery organizationBuild teams - directly or through team managers - with strong orientation towards delivering superior LCL customer quality as per the LCL product outcomes committed in OIPCIdentify/ attract and retain talent, and equip them with ambitious learning plan; offering constant opportunities to practice innovation and change leadership.Ensure LCL Delivery team(s) are trained and practice in accordance with global standards for managing La orders, safety and local legal regulations.Map local risks (structural, seasonal etc) to develop and maintain business continuity plans.Drive Cost to Serve focusWork consistently to reduce cost to serve to remain competitive on both quality and cost in changing market conditions.Manage LCL Delivery capacity according to demand, plan for optimal mix of local Delivery team, GSC and 3rd party operations.Actively monitor and manage volume trajectory of customer base, work with CX and Sales to maximize utilized/ profitable MLC network reduce churn and expedite new and additional business conversion.Constantly feed timely market and customer information back to Product and Sales.Accountable forOverall LCL Delivery outcomes in Area or Country.Ensure LCL delivery capabilities are in place.All cost and quality outcomes within LCL Delivery (including 3rd Party)Drive standardization initiatives within LCL, and provide input on gaps in platforms processes, automation etc.Create, implement, maintain LCL business continuity plans.Critical CompetenciesFluency in Thai is essential.Strong background in LCL delivery.LCL-savvy mindset to quickly convert opportunities to business impacts.Ability to lead, coach and motivate large teams, inducing leaders or others.Ability to operate successfully in a complex environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders across several levels.Prepare and execute a business plan to run large operation with variable demand.Lead an organization to prepare and respond with resilience to a business environment influenced by various external factors.Strategic thinking and execution, driving while balancing both a global strategies and a local efficiency focus.#LI-JY1Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
