Category team as a Category Manager. Are you experienced in this field looking for a new challenge and likes to work within a dynamic, exciting, innovative, scaling-up working environment? You might be the one for us.
What we are looking for; - Managing relationships with suppliers under Modanisa procurement policies.
- Participating in new supplier development negotiations and deciding on eligibility to work.
- Develop strategies and ensure that these strategies are implemented by the team.
- To evaluate and improve the performance of existing suppliers and to identify supplier specific working strategies.
- Ensuring and controlling supplier contracts.
- Manage and direct product pricing activities.
- To periodically submit sales and purchasing budgets to senior management in line with strategic decisions.
- To manage the stocks for the category and report the inventory turnover speed according to the targets.
- Create campaigns in coordination with relevant chapters for special occasions (Valentine's Day, Mother’s Day, etc.) depending on the Merchandising calendar.
- To determine the need for human resources for the team, to be involved in the process of obtaining and to provide competence development.
What we expect from you; - Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related discipline,
- 6+ experience in category management,
- Ability to manage a team, and advanced negotiation skills,
- High drive and ambition to perform, independence, flexibility and speed,
- Fluency in English,
- Ability to assess risk/reward,
- 3 years of experience in team management,
- Ability to operate and execute independently in an ambiguous environment,
