A recruiter is seeking a Head – Construction and Supervision to manage the portfolio and profit and loss statements of the department. Objectives of this Role A multi-functional team head who is responsible for delivering many varied projects in accordance with the client's requirements. Overall construction management as part of a client team with emphasis on construction delivery, logistics and handover. Monitor quality of construction and act where necessary to ensure the required quality is delivered. Job Role Supervise construction work, as the next head of project management. Managing and responsible for day-to-day operations and coordination of workforce Supervise feasibility and risk analysis of projects. Ensure thorough preparation of projects and manage design and project review. Supervise and plan projects and their follow-up. Oversee tenders, including contracts and operating contracts. Ensure the quality of projects and their timely delivery, within plans. Put the satisfaction and safety of people first: customers, colleagues, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Be a leader in reform, policymaking, and goal setting. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture. 25+ years of experience in the same field with at least 5 years senior management experience. Extensive experience in management and construction projects. Very good skills in the operation and finance of projects, including planning and follow-up. Knowledge of design and project review, interest and experience in BIM is an advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management skills, verbal and written communication skills, and good teamwork skills. Strong interpersonal skills, good decision-making skills. Excellent project management skills, good leadership skills, and ability to pay particular attention to detail. Additional requirements: Experienced in Quality control and Assurance of all construction trades and activities. Experienced in preparing QA/QC manuals for construction activities. Experienced in supervising construction activities from foundation till handing over. Experienced in reviews of Shop drawings and construction details. Experienced in construction contracts; claims and contract admin in general. Experienced in project initiations and closeouts. P&L of human resources in the project.
